Moving … again

The ninteenth century Danish philosopher – theologian Søren Kierkegaard once observed:

    Before you can move from the spot, you have to move at the spot.

There is something vital in this. We can move beyond our situation, but first we actually have to accept the responsibility for doing that. We have to do it. We have to move at the spot, before we can move on.

Sometimes when we move at the spot, we decide that we don’t want to move from it. The inward change is enough.
